Tullaview acknowledging our Past Champions
From humble beginnings in 1975, Patrice & Gary Knight purchased their first Border Collie – a gorgeous bundle of black & white from John & Gloria Whyte from the famous Crestvale Kennel in Victoria. More than 40 years later, we still trace our pedigrees back to our foundation bitch “Serena” and hold dear many of those breed attributes which our earliest mentors instilled in us. We have been blessed to work with and alongside some of Australia’s top breeders, many of whom have had a Tullaview Border Collie and who have entrusted us with their own dogs in return.
We are proud to say that even today Tullaview dogs can be found behind Champion Border Collie lines in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, the UK, South Africa, Japan and now in Europe. We have bred 37 individual Border Collie Conformation Champions (under the Tullaview and Tullagale prefixes), with many others gaining titles in other performance disciplines. We have also had the honour of owning and campaigning several Border Collies from other kennels, many of whom we have titled in the conformation ring.
We have compiled the following information about our titled dogs to the best of our knowledge and available records. Please enjoy your visit to these historical archives…
Our Show Champions & Other Titled Dogs...

Aust Ch Crestvale Gay Serena CD
Serena was our first Border Collie, our first Champion and the strong foundation for our lines. While successful in the show ring as a youngster, her real achievement was in the whelping-box, as the proud dam of 10 Tullaview Champions! We owe much gratitude to John & Gloria Whyte (Crestvale Kennels) for entrusting this very special girl to us. She will forever hold a special place as the matriarch of Tullaview!

Aust Ch Tullaview Tornado CD
Trouble was our first homebred Champion from very our first litter and holds a very special place here still. He was not only a Best In Show winner, but also an influential sire still found behind many successful lines across the world today, including our newer generations here at Tullaview. He really is the dog responsible for putting Tullaview on the map in so many ways, and is still to this day Patrice’s Number 1! Trouble was the proud sire of 17 Champions.
